Leadership Teams.

At Coast Community Church, our leadership approach is deeply rooted in biblical principles and the mission of God. Our approach emphasises shared responsibility, mutual accountability, and nurturing the spiritual well-being of our spiritual family.

We embrace the New Testament synergy that is created through Christ’s fivefold graces to the church: Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher and Evangelist, found in Ephesians 4:

"And he (Christ) gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-13

Rather than leaning on a single senior pastor with just one or two gifts, our Elders, Overseers, and Mission Hub Staff lead out of the full spectrum of fivefold graces to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.  We are careful not to assign individuals the office of apostle or prophet etc, rather we acknowledge and release individual leaders into their discerned strengths.
