Of all questions this is easy to answer quickly, but impossible to answer in its entirety.
To encapsuate His Kingdom,
every fascet of it known and unknown,
you can not do it.
We worship because he simply put breath in our lungs.
We worship to orient our gaze, because we hope in things unseen.
We worship to surrender our will and to let loose the things of Heaven.
We worship with a voice of faith to lift up the broken and bring healing.
We worship from a deep place, as he sees far deeper still.
We spur up everything within us because we are expectant and declare His continued reign.
We approach with a heart of gratefulness for his mercy, for reasons which cannot be counted, and not always named.
We praise because He asks us to, in it He delights, it is our purpose as the created.
We sing because His Kingdom is in our midst, we are his temple, where he is worshipped.
"O God, never suffer us to think that we can stand by ourselves, and not need Thee." JOHN DONNE
"Worship is not a part of the Christian life; it is the Christian life." GERALD VANN
